Since Vosen's German Pretzels contain no preservatives and due to the small portion weight, it has a 1-day shelf life. The crust acts as a natural preserver and keeps the interior moist and soft. If the pretzels should become hard during the day, you can soften them by heating them in a microwave oven for 5-10 seconds. Longer exposure to microwave radiation will make them leathery and hard to eat. You can also store them in a plastic bag and heat them up in a 400o F oven for 1-2 minutes to make the softened crust crispy again.rnrnrnrnrnIf you choose to freeze the pretzels, tightly wrap it in a plastic bag. They will keep up to 2 weeks. To serve from a frozen state, let them thaw inside the plastic bag (to preserve moisture), remove them from the bag and heat it in a 400o F oven for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve warm. DO NOT UNDERBAKE.
