This product is, due to its short shelf life, not very well to ship. We would recommend this only for short distance or overnight shipping and advise you that you will have quality loss.

Storage Tips

Since Vosen's Poppy Pastries contain no preservatives and due to the small portion weight, they have a 1-day shelf life. Wrapped in plastic, however, it may be possible to keep them for an additional day. The butter content acts as a natural preserver and keeps the interior moist and soft. If the pastries should become hard during the day, you can soften them by heating them in a microwave oven for 5-10 seconds. Longer exposure to microwave radiation will make them leathery and hard to eat. You can also store them in a plastic bag and heat them up in a 400o F oven for 1-2 minutes to make the softened crust crispy again.rnrnIf you choose to freeze the pastries, tightly wrap it in a plastic bag. They will keep up to 1 month. To serve from a frozen state, let them thaw inside the plastic bag (to preserve moisture), remove them from the bag and heat it in a 400o F oven for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve warm. DO NOT UNDERBAKE.
