Vosen's Schwarzbrot contains no preservatives, but the special baking procedure and the high moisture content give this great tasting bread a shelf life of more than a week .Although we usually recommend to cut only as many slices as you actually want to eat, because sliced bread dries much faster, it's different with this one. We pre-slice it and pack it in plastic. You should keep the remaining bread in a plastic bag and store it in a dry cool place. During summer time refrigeration is recommended to avoid mold.rnrnIf you choose to freeze the bread, tightly wrap it in a plastic bag. It will keep up to 2 months. To serve from a frozen state, please let it thaw slowly (overnight) inside the plastic bag.
