Storage Tips

Since Vosen's Onion Baguette contains no preservatives, it is best eaten within 2-3 days. The crust acts as a natural preserver and keeps the interior moist and soft. That is why we recommend to cut only as many slices as you actually want to eat, because sliced bread dries much faster. You should keep the remaining bread in a plastic bag and store it in a dry cool place. During summer time refrigeration is recommended to avoid mold.rnrnIf you choose to freeze the bread, tightly wrap it in a plastic bag. It will keep up to 1 month. To serve from a frozen state, remove it from the bag and heat it in a 400o F oven for 5-10 minutes. Remove it from the oven and let it sit for 5 more minutes. DO NOT UNDERBAKE.
