Storage Tips Since Vosen's Croissants contain no preservatives and due to the small portion weight, it has a 1-day shelf life. The crust acts as a natural preserver and keeps the interior moist and soft. If the croissants should become hard during the day, you can soften them by heating them in a microwave oven for 5-10 seconds. Longer exposure to microwave radiation will make them leathery and hard to eat. You can also store them in a plastic bag and heat them up in a 400o F oven for 1-2 minutes to make the softened crust crispy again. If you choose to freeze the croissants, tightly wrap it in a plastic bag. They will keep up to 2 weeks. To serve from a frozen state, let them thaw inside the plastic bag (to preserve moisture), remove them from the bag and heat it in a 400o F oven for 1-2 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve warm. DO NOT UNDERBAKE.
This product is, due to its very short shelf life, not very well to ship. We would recommend this only for short distance or overnight shipping and advise you that you will have quality loss.
Menu suggestions These Croissants are a great base for a delightful breakfast. A specialty is a lightly heated ham'n cheese sandwich. Leftovers can be used for bread crumbs.
